Special Election

The Glendale City Council has referred the following propositions to a special election on November 5, 2019:

     • An amendment to Article II, Section 8, of the Glendale City Charter relating to salaries of the mayor and council members

     • An amendment to Article IX, Section 5, of the Glendale City Charter relating to the time of holding primary elections

The special election will be a mail ballot election. Glendale registered electors will receive a ballot in the mail.

A Sample Ballot is available in the Glendale City Clerk's Office.

An election publicity pamphlet will be mailed to the households of all registered voters on or before Monday, October 1, 2019.


 

August 4, 2020 City Council Election

Candidate packets are now available for the 2020 City Council election.  The following seats will be filled – mayor and council members for the Cactus District, Sahuaro District and Yucca District.  To schedule an appointment to obtain a packet, please call 623-930-2252, Option 1.
