Zoning

Zoning defines and provides parameters for land uses in a community. Land uses can include commercial, residential, industrial, etc. These zoning districts benefit the community by establishing design/development standards for land uses.

The City of Glendale's zoning standards are established, guided, and controlled through the use of an adopted Unified Development Code (UDC).  The Unified Development Code became effective January 12th, 2024 and can be viewed here:
