SPECIAL ELECTION - NOVEMBER 4, 2025
The City Council has called a special election to be held on November 4, 2025. The Special Election is being conducted as a ballot by mail election. All registered electors of the City, regardless of party registration, may vote on the two questions. To vote in the November 4, 2025 Special Election by Mail, Glendale residents must be registered to vote by October 6, 2025. Two questions will appear on the ballot:
QUESTION 1 |
PURPOSE: FLOOD CONTROL |
PRINCIPAL AMOUNT: $30,000,000 |
Shall the City of Glendale be authorized to sell up to $30,000,000 in general obligation bonds for flood control and water retention basin improvements?

QUESTION 2 |
PURPOSE: CITY OPERATIONS FACILITIES |
PRINCIPAL AMOUNT: $35,000,000 |
Shall the City of Glendale be authorized to sell up to $35,000,000 in general obligation bonds for major repairs and improvements to city operations facilities?

Members of the public may submit arguments for or against the questions. Arguments must be filed electronically by email with the Glendale City Clerk’s Office by 5:00 p.m. on August 8, 2025. Arguments shall not exceed 300 words in length and a $100.00 deposit must accompany each submitted argument. Click here for more information.
