Glendale Adult Center

UPDATE 1/12/21

The most vulnerable members of our community are our senior population. As a measure of precaution, the city will be closing the Glendale Adult Center effective Saturday, March 14, 2020 and will remain closed until further notice. The city will also be suspending senior adult classes and senior gatherings at other city facilities including Foothills Recreation & Aquatics Center and our libraries.

The city continues to plan a reopening of the Glendale Adult Center while monitoring state benchmarks for the spread of COVID-19

Updated 4/1/21

On March 5, 2021 Governor Doug Ducey lifted the capacity restrictions on Arizona businesses, including gyms.  This latest Executive Order rescinded occupancy limits set by the Arizona Department of Health Service that depended on the level of community spread of COVID-19. On March 26, the City of Glendale will lift capacity limits at the Foothills Recreation & Aquatics Center as well as at outdoor events and sports fields.  Social distancing requirements will remain in place and face coverings are required in all city facilities.

Just launched! Glendale Adult Center fitness classes will now be airing on Glendale 11. These are shortened versions (20-25 minutes) of two of the popular classes normally held at the Adult Center with instructor Brian Burris.

Now you can do a quick daily workout from home with a familiar face. Find them on Cox Communications' channel 11, each day at 7 a.m. Cardio Moves and Total Body workout will alternate daily in the 7 a.m. timeslot. Don't have cable? You can stream Glendale 11 online or find them online here:
