Application for Funding - INFRA Grant



The City of Glendale Transportation Department is seeking grant
funding to make improvements to 51st Avenue between Camelback
Road and Glendale Avenue. The components for improvements,
estimated budget and project area include:

Proposed Improvements:
Pavement reconstruction using sustainable treatments
Median installation for pedestrian & motorist safety
Construct missing sidewalks to close gaps
Improve access to inter-modal freight facility
Update sidewalk ramps for accessibility
Upgrade lighting for safety & sustainability

$15.1 million
