FAQ's

  • Where do I report street light outages?
Either through the city's service request system, GlendaleOne or by calling 623-930-2940.

  • Why is the light in front of my house going on and off all night long?
The lamp is cycling, which is the first indication that the lamp needs to be replaced. Please report these because a cycling light will reduce the working life of the light fixture.

  • What light sources are used in Glendale?
Nearly all street lights are high pressure sodium. The only exceptions are those in Westgate which are metal halide.

  • I reported a light outage but time has passed and it is still not fixed. Why?
The most common reason for this delay is the underground wire supplying electricity to the street light is in need of repair. Repairs to the underground wiring are done by the utility company (APS or SRP).
