SPECIAL ELECTION - NOVEMBER 7, 2023
The City Council has called a special election to be held on November 7, 2023. The Special Election is being conducted as a ballot by mail election. All registered electors of the City, regardless of party registration, may vote on the two questions. To vote in the November 7, 2023 Special Election by Mail, Glendale residents must be registered to vote by October 10, 2023. Two questions will appear on the ballot:
QUESTION 1 |
PURPOSE: STREET AND INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS |
PRINCIPAL AMOUNT: $82,000,000 |
Shall the City of Glendale, Arizona (the"City"), be authorized to issue bonds in a principal amount not to exceed $82,000,000 for the purpose of providing funds for streets?
QUESTION 2 |
PURPOSE: PUBLIC SAFETY |
PRINCIPAL AMOUNT: $78,000,000 |
Shall the City of Glendale, Arizona (the "City"), be authorized to issue bonds in a principal amount not to exceed $78,000,000 for the purpose of providing funds for public safety projects?
Members of the public may submit arguments for or against the questions. Arguments must be filed electronically by email with the Glendale City Clerk’s Office by 5:00 p.m. on August 9, 2023. Arguments shall not exceed 300 words in length and a $100.00 deposit must accompany each submitted argument. Click here for more information.
PRIMARY ELECTION - AUGUST 6, 2024
The City of Glendale will hold a Primary Election on August 6, 2024. The offices to be filled in 2024 are Mayor and Councilmembers for the Cactus, Sahuaro and Yucca Districts.
