Out of an abundance of caution and to support other preventative measures underway, beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020 the City of Glendale is instituting the following closures, suspensions and cancellations:

Special Events
All special events The city of Glendale is cancelling or postponing its special events, due to recent guidelines outlined by health agencies. This includes the March 20 and April 3 Movies by Moonlight events. The April dates for the Live! @ Murphy Park concert series are being postponed. Please check this site for updates as we move forward.

Indoor Parks & Recreation Centers 
Parks & Recreation facilities including the Adult Center, Foothills Recreation & Aquatic Center, O’Neil Recreation Center, Rose Lane Recreation Center, Heroes Regional Parks Recreation Building will all be closed.

The city of Glendale produces free family-friendly events, including downtown festivals and other events throughout the year, like the Touch-A-Truck event at Westgate Entertainment District in October, as well as the Folk & Heritage Festival at Historic Sahuaro Ranch in March.
