Baldenegro resides in the same house in downtown Glendale where he was born and raised. He is a Glendale Elementary School District employee. He graduated from Apollo High School and attended Arizona State University.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the residents of the Ocotillo District and the City of Glendale," Baldenegro said. "I appreciate the trust and confidence of the City Council to appoint me to the Council. As a lifelong resident of downtown Glendale, I am focused on ensuring our streets and neighborhoods are safe. I am excited to help attract businesses into our city, which will create new career opportunities for our residents. Lastly, I am committed to being a trusted voice for the residents as we make important decisions that will impact the District and the entire City today and into the future."

He was selected for the City Council seat from qualified candidates who applied from the Ocotillo District. The appointment covers the remainder of the former Councilmember's term through December 2026. He will be sworn into office at the April 23 Council Meeting.
