Do you ever wonder if that insect lurking in your garden is a friend or foe? Insects play a vital role in the local ecology and most are beneficial to your garden. Carol Stuttard, Maricopa County Master Gardener, will introduce you to the wonderful and fascinating world of insects to help you discover who are your garden’s allies and enemies.

Desert Plant Survival: A Beginner’s Guide
Getting plants to thrive in the low desert takes more than luck; it takes proper plant selection, installation, watering, and maintenance. Jo Miller, Landscape Designer, will cover the basics on how to create a hardy, healthy, and harmonious landscape.

Irrigation Repair and Maintenance
Learn the basics about your landscape watering system, including drip, bubblers, and sprinklers. Johnathan Manning, Certified Arborist and Nurseryman, will provide a basic overview of how to design irrigation systems, troubleshoot problems, and repair common leaks.
