Take a leisurely stroll through the Glendale Xeriscape (low-water-use) Demonstration Garden that surrounds the Glendale Main Library. Learn about the unique adaptations that allow water-efficient plants to survive and thrive in the low desert. City of Glendale Water Services staff will provide a brief history of the garden, talk about upcoming projects, and lead a guided tour in the garden. Attendees are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle and wear close-toed shoes and sun-protective gear.
