At about 1:00 a.m. Saturday, Mr. Montoya-Duran left a friend’s home near 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road. He was speaking to his friend on his cell phone while he drove west on Bethany Home. Between 59th and 75th Avenues, Mr. Montoya-Duran commented to his friend that he thought he was being followed by a dark-colored sedan. He thought that it might be a Honda. Mr. Montoya-Duran was driving a red Chevy Cobalt. The dark-colored sedan is considered a possible suspect vehicle. “We are looking at several possibilities about what happened that night,” said Det. Brad McMillen. “It is important for us to speak with anyone who saw or heard anything. This will help us to either include or exclude several investigative leads that we are looking at.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the Glendale Police Tip Line at 623-930-3399.
