Roots Recreation & Learning Center Program at

Join us for a morning of information, community resources and fun. The ROOTS Program is expanding to a second facility, now opening at the Glendale Community Center. Learn all about the youth programs that will be offered, as well as the YWCA programs and much more.

R.O.O.T.S is a preventative program designed to reduce elevated risk behavior among youth in our community, such as drug /alcohol use, teen pregnancy, and antisocial behaviors, by engaging youth in educational, recreational, and inspirational activities. Children third grade and older are welcome! Info is available online also at rootscenter.org.

YWCA Senior Program - FREE!
Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Activities include exercise, socialization, bingo, field trips and more! The YWCA Senior Lunch Program offers hot meals for age 60+, Monday-Friday, 12-12:30 p.m. for a $2.50 suggested contribution. For lunch, call 623-930-4700 at least 24 hours in advance.
