Glendale Recreation After School Program

Licensed Glendale Recreation After School Program (GRASP)

GRASP is a licensed program, regulated by the Arizona Department of Health Services which accepts DES qualifying families. This licensed site provides a variety of activities for children ages 5-13. Programming includes educational activities, snacks, group games, homework time and enrichment opportunities. The site is supervised at all times by caring, adult staff members.

The Desert Mirage site is open on early release days but closed on national holidays. Check with site staff regarding intersession availability.

Pendergast School District:
  Desert Mirage Elementary School, 8605 W. Maryland Ave.

Pre-registration is required, including a non-refundable registration fee for the school year. Registration must be completed at least 2 business days prior to program site attendance. Registration booklets with more detailed information are available at each site or at the Glendale Parks and Recreation office at 5970 W. Brown St.

Program Rates  
PM only - School dismissal time to 6 p.m.
  Daily $9  
  Weekly (up to 5 days/week) $45  

Intercession

  7 a.m.–6 p.m. $25 (residents), $30 per day (non-residents)  
Additional Fees
  Program Registration $30 ($37 non-resident)  
  Late Payment (past Fri. after noon) $10/week per child  
  Late Pick Up (past close) 6-6:05 p.m....$10   
6:05 p.m.and later…$25
 
  Early Release Day
(Open at dismissal time for early release and parent-teacher conference days)
$5
