The city of Glendale is asking neighbors for their input in a community survey in hopes to gauge satisfaction levels on a variety of topics. The survey was sent to a random sampling of households selected through U.S. mail lists in January. Those households received a letter in the mail asking them to complete the survey. On Monday, February 6 an open participation survey will be available to the general public to receive more feedback.

“Having the input of our constituents is invaluable,” said Glendale Mayor Jerry P. Weiers. “As a Council, we’ll have concrete data, which allows us to make better-informed decisions on future budgets and programs.”

The city of Glendale is excited to partner with national firm Polco, to participate in the National Community Survey, a 21-year-old survey with roughly 140 community-related questions that will helpofficials better understand how the city’s performance impacts the community.

Additionally, by using Polco, survey results will be compared to results from more than 400 other communities in more than 40 states.
