Ballot Arguments Accepted for Bond Election

Ballot Arguments Accepted for Bond Election
Posted on 06/09/2023

The Glendale City Council referred two questions to the ballot for the November 7, 2023 special election. The public is invited to submit ballot arguments for the election publicity pamphlet.

The bond questions are to provide funding for street and intersection improvements and for public safety projects.

Anyone wishing to file an argument for or against either of the ballot measures for publication in the election publicity pamphlet may submit a written statement not to exceed 300 words. Arguments must be emailed to the City Clerk’s Office by 5 p.m. on August 9, 2023. Each filed argument requires a $100 deposit.

For more information regarding the election, voter registration deadlines, or how to file a ballot argument, please visit the Glendale City Clerk’s webpage.
