Two study rooms ("A" and "B") are provided for use by library patrons at the Foothills Branch Library. The rooms are not to be used for business or commercial purposes. Study Rooms may be reserved one week in advance, in person or by telephone.
Please call or come to the Foothills Branch Library Public Service Desk during business hours to place your reservation. The Librarian will need your name, telephone number, reservation date and time requested, and the number of people in your group.
Priority for use of the Study Rooms is given to groups. Study Rooms "A" and "B" have seating available for four persons. Up to two additional chairs may be requested at the Public Service Desk.
Reservations are scheduled in one or two-hour increments at the top of each hour. To ensure a fair distribution among library patrons, groups or individuals are limited to no more than two hours in one day, and no more than two reservations per week.
The staff will hold a study room reservation for up to 15 minutes beyond the reservation time, at which time a "no show" will cause the reservation to be canceled. Cancellations of study room reservations should be made 24 hours in advance. When canceling, please give the staff your name, reservation date and time, and telephone, so that we may verify the cancellation.
Walk-in patrons may use unreserved or canceled study rooms. Walk-ins may use study rooms in one or two-hour increments, starting at the top of each hour, for up to two hours per day.
