The Glendale Fire Department is working to make sure fallen firefighter Lester Hillis is never forgotten. The department dedicated a memorial fire hydrant to Hillis, who was killed in the line of duty in 1974.
It’s the second in a series of fire hydrant dedications honoring police officers and firefighters who died serving their community.
