Summary: The Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture’s Public Art Program is requesting submissions from artists of all experience levels to design improvements at 6 City of Phoenix Well Sites at multiple locations throughout Phoenix. Selected artists can expect to work with a variety of design professionals including landscape architects, engineers, and city staff from various departments including the Water Services and the Office of Arts and Culture. Enhancement to locations can include but is not limited to trees, xeriscaping, pathways, fencing, walls, gates, sculpture, etc. Enhancements will serve to not only improve the appearance of the site, but to also improve safety and security at the location. Summary: The Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture, in partnership with City of Phoenix Public Works Department, is seeking professional artists or artist teams to work with the City creating artwork to raise awareness about reusing and recycling of textile materials. Up to three artists will be selected to create artwork on the topic, engage the citizens of Phoenix through workshops and events, and to document the process and message.
