Martin Art Center's "Arizona STE[+a]M Shop" and MakerSpace is an art-based STEM Education Center providing FREE after-school programs to out-of-school-time area youth (K-12) in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. In this creative problem-solving workshop, kids are given the chance to explore, create, and develop an awareness of STEM. Kids can have fun with science and technology while creating art! Facilities include a multimedia stage, computer center, and maker space.
Arizona STE[+a]M Shop Program
Hours: Monday-Friday, 3-7:00 p.m.; Saturday, 12.-4 p.m.
Activities include robotics, drawing, computer programming, painting/BEAT LAB, FREQ FREAK, string art, stamp/print making, paper rockets, and more, from an award-winning instructor.

Martin Arts Center
Basic Carpentry Class
Wednesday 4 - 8 p.m.
Join us for a class teaching basic carpentry skills. Must be 13 years and older to participate. Training on all tools must be completed to continue this program. Martin, a journeyman carpenter and OSHA safety-certified instructor, will head up this program.

"Freq Freak" - learning about frequency and vibrations
Arduino Programming - program an electronic board!
Beat Lab - electronic music learning timing and beat
Boats Float - make a boat and learn how it floats and more
Nail/String Art - this arts and craft activity is geometric designs made of nails and string
Job Search/Resume-writing – this free walk-in program for young adults (16-25) will teach workplace skills, job applications and more
