Join us for a morning of information, community resources and fun. The ROOTS Program is expanding to a second facility, now opening at the Glendale Community Center. Learn all about the youth programs that will be offered, as well as the YWCA programs and much more.

R.O.O.T.S. tree logoR.O.O.T.S is a preventative program designed to reduce elevated risk behavior among youth in our community, such as drug /alcohol use, teen pregnancy, and antisocial behaviors, by engaging youth in educational, recreational, and inspirational activities. Children third grade and older are welcome!

ROOTS is helping youth achieve academic success, promoting on-time progression and high school graduation. STEAM programming, homework help, fitness, life skills and more, are all offered, in addition to basketball, football and soccer programs this fall.   • Voice lessons: every Monday, 5:30-6 p.m.
  • Piano lessons: every Tuesday, 4:30 p.m. (children) & 5:30 p.m. (adults)
  • Football Practice: every Tuesday & Thursday, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Dance lessons: every other Tuesday, 7-8 p.m.
  • Young Chefs Program: every Wednesday, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
