Youth T-ball/Baseball/Softball

Register Kids Early for Summer Ball, Get Free Spring Training Tickets!
Play ball! It’s time to register for Glendale’s summer youth t-ball/baseball/slow pitch softball leagues! The t-ball, baseball and softball leagues are offered to children ages 4-12. All youth divisions are coed, for children ages 4 through 12 years old.  The league emphasizes physical fitness, equal participation and social and skill development.

Registration is Feb. 25 - April 12.  Participants registered by March 8th will receive two free tickets to a spring training game at Camelback Ranch!

Games will be once a week for 8 weeks and begin the week of June 3 at Sahuaro Ranch Sports Complex and are played Monday-Thursday evenings.

Cost for the league is $55 for Glendale residents and $75 for non-residents ($10 late fee added after April 5). Fees include a team shirt, hat and up to 8 games.

The festive closing ceremonies will be held at the Camelback Ranch spring training facility.

* If there are not enough participants in the softball divisions, they will have the option to combine with the baseball division.

Practices can begin the week of May 13th if enough parents and volunteers have signed up to coach.  The practice location, day and time is determined by the volunteer coach.  Practices can be any day, Monday through Thursday, 5:30 to 8:30pm and no more than twice a week.

Be a Volunteer Coach! our award-winning youth sports program! Indicate your desire to coach when signing up your child. (Note: This does not guarantee a coaching position). Those who do not have children in the league are also welcome to apply! Click here to download an application.


  1. Be at least 18 years old.
  2. Complete a coach’s application and submit it to the Parks & Recreation office, 5970 W. Brown St., by current season registration deadline.
  3. Be fingerprinted and have an FBI background check.
  4. Attend a mandatory coaches meeting.
  5. Attend the Youth Sports Coaches training class or online NYSCA program.
  6. Adhere to the City of Glendale’s coach’s Code of Conduct and department philosophy, “The outcome of the child is more important than the outcome of the game.”
