Get a Peacock Library Card
September 2017 marked the 30th anniversary of Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the American Library Association joins public libraries nationwide to highlight the value of a library card. In addition, the Main Library also celebrated its 30th birthday! To commemorate both of these momentous occasions, Glendale Public Library unveiled a card design featuring one of the many peacocks who roost on the grounds of the Main Library. If you'd like to replace your library card with this design, you can do so at any Glendale Public Library. Just bring your picture ID and $2 for the new card. If you don't have a library card yet, it's free for Maricopa County residents! Click here to find out more.
