Additional Health Center Information
What We Do
The Glendale Health Center performs physicals for sworn, civilian and retired personnel. The exams meet AZPOST, NFPA and OSHA requirements and have detected early medical problems. The Health Center also promotes wellness in the areas of substance abuse, diet, exercise and mental health. The fire physicals consist of the following: health survey, urinalysis, blood analysis, hearing and vision testing, pulmonary function, stress test, chest x-ray (done every 5 years), breath alcohol testing, body fat measurement, functional movement screening, physician examination and consultation. Police physicals currently do not include functional movement screening, but can for an additional fee. Additional fees for follow-up visits may also apply. In addition to physical examinations, the Glendale Health Center also performs pre-employment drug screening, TB testing, immunizations, hearing tests and other ancillary services.
Public Safety physicals can be customized to meet your agencies needs and budget. Please contact Health Center Client Director, GayLee Smith at (623)772-7718 or email email@example.com
