The Yucca District is located in the southwestern portion of our city. The district is rich in diversity and is considered the last frontier for growth and development in Glendale. The district is home to the three “Cs” of Glendale: The NHL Coyotes, the NFL Cardinals and Cabela’s Outdoor Outfitters. In the Yucca District you will also find Luke Air Force Base, Glendale Municipal Airport, the Regional Public Safety Training Center, and soon, a Media Center, Convention Center and Parking Garage. The city’s newest, vibrant sports/entertainment/ retail destination areas of Zanjero and Westgate are also located in the District. Yet with all the development, the Yucca District is one of the areas in Glendale where large, equestrian properties are still available.
As your district representative on the Glendale City Council, it is my goal to build strong neighborhoods, create job opportunities, manage meaningful growth, and be the “voice” of Yucca District residents. If I can be of assistance to you in any way, please contact me. Councilmember Joyce Clark |
