The city disposes of surplus equipment, furniture, vehicles and miscellaneous items through public auction. Unclaimed personal property obtained from the Police Department is also sold at a public auction. Unclaimed property could include such items as household appliances, electronic items, clothing and jewelry.
One auctioneering company is contracted to conduct auctions for the city of Glendale. The public is welcome to attend and bid on these items. The auctions are held monthly, and it's suggested that you contact the auction companies for further information.
