Shielding

Shielding is available by completing the shielding request form. The City of Glendale can install a shield on the backside of a streetlight fixture reducing the amount of light the spills onto the property behind the streetlight pole. The City is unable to shield the sides or front of streetlight fixtures because it will adversely affect the output of the light.
