Transportation - Streetlights Lighting T.I.P.s (Traffic Information Program) Streetlighting Maintenance The City of Glendale's Transportation Department encourages citizens to report all streetlighting problems (outages, flickering, etc.) as soon as they are noticed by calling (623) 930-2940. You will be asked to provide as specific an address as is possible related to the problem streetlight. For example, it would be helpful to the city if you could provide a street address and/or a corner location such as northeast, northwest, southeast or southwest. Requesting Additional Lighting If you feel that your street does not have adequate lighting, you may submit a written request to the Glendale Transportation Department for additional lighting. The written request should include your name, address and a telephone number where you can be reached during regular working hours. You should also be specific in the written request about where you feel lights are needed. Please submit a form online or mail your request to:

Reviewing Your Request The Transportation Department will review the location at which you are requesting additional lighting and then contact you with the results of the evaluation. At the current time, the city only provides lighting for the street. The city does not light alleys, private property or provide security lighting. If it is determined that additional streetlights are required, they will be installed at no cost to you. Let Us Help!
