Volunteer Opportunities at the Foothills Branch Library
Teen Volunteers -- Our teen volunteers are critical to the success of our library. Volunteers assist with numerous library activities: program preparation; book, video and audio organization; prize distribution, and program participation. Note that some of the tasks can be mundane or repetitive. If you would like an ongoing volunteer experience, submit an application at the youth reference desk. Click here for an application . Once called for volunteering, the teen applicant will have a brief interview, and a training session will be scheduled. For more information about being a library volunteer, please email Kristin Fletcher-Spear at 623-930-3840.
One Time Volunteering -- With many schools requiring volunteering for classwork, the Foothills Library offers teens the opportunity to volunteer on a limited basis. This option is only available for teens, 12-18, who have been assigned volunteer hours by their schools. Space is very limited and subject to change. For more information, please email Kristin Fletcher-Spear at 623-930-3840.
