Glendale, AZ - Teen Library - Who are the Teen Librarians?
Main Library
Merideth Jenson-Benjamin is a Teen Librarian, and the Youth Department Volunteer Coordinator at the Main Library. She is also the person who does most of the Teen programming.
She's loud, red-headed, and way, way too into comics, sci-fi, fantasy and most things geeky.
Kearsten LaBrozzi is a teen librarian, and the Main Library's resident expert on zombies, vampires and other creatures of the night. She coordinates the teen book discussion group at Main Library, Kearsten's Book Club, and is generally pretty awesome.
Foothills Branch Library
Kristin Fletcher-Spear is the teen librarian in charge of overseeing all things teen. That means she orders all the teen materials, plans programs, and manages the teen volunteers. Kristin reads a lot of graphic novels and pretty much any types of fiction but hardcore science fiction. She works at the youth reference desk.
Velma Teague Branch
Greg Kinder is a teen/adult services librarian at Velma Teague Branch Library. He can usually be found working at the adult reference desk directly in front of the Teen Zone, so feel free to drop by and say “hi” when you’re in the area…It would be really good for his self-esteem. Greg’s reading genre of choice is supernatural horror..
