Recycling - Recycling Drop-off |
Customers can drop off recyclables within a designated area at the Glendale Municipal Landfill site. The landfill is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., and on Saturdays from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. Stop at the landfill scale house for directions to the recycling drop-off area.
Paper, cans, plastic containers, and cardboard boxes are collected at the recycling drop-off area. A separate bin for GLASS bottles and containers is also located in this area. These items are accepted at no cost. The materials collected are taken to the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) to be processed into commodities sold to various end markets.
