What We Do
The MRF receives recyclable materials from households and businesses. The facility is designed to sort and process these materials into marketable goods. This state-of-the-art sorting process combines advanced, automated material-handling technology with manual labor.

Location of the Glendale Materials Recovery Facility
The Glendale Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) is located on the site of the Glendale Municipal Landfill, north of the Glendale Airport and just east of the Agua Fria River at 11480 W. Glendale Avenue.

Enter the Glendale Municipal Landfill and stop at the scale house. Staff will provide directions for the MRF drop-off site.
