Pavement markings provide guidance, information and separation to drivers and pedestrians, and are required for traffic safety. Thermoplastic pavement markings last approximately 5 times longer than standard paint markings. |

The alleyway located between Glendale Avenue and Glenn Drive and east of 58th Avenue |
This project had been previously approved for funding using $500,000 of Federal Transportation Enhancement funds and $256,982 of local match funding from the GO Program. This project would advance the effort of bringing the alley into conformance with the pedestrian improvements already implemented in the Catlin Court Historic District. ADOT has decided to apply ARRA funds on all previously-approved Transportation Enhancement projects that are shovel-ready. |
