The City Prosecutor's Office is responsible for the prosecution of misdemeanor criminal offenses that are committed within the city limits. Each year, the City Prosecutor's Office handles approximately 13,000 criminal cases. This includes prosecution for crimes such as:

• Disorderly Conduct
• Violation of Court Orders of Protection
• Contracting without a License
• DUI
• Hit and Run
• Suspended License
• Theft/Shoplifting
• Dog at Large
