Openings Still Available for Parks and Recreation Classes
GLENDALE, Ariz. – Openings are still available for many of Glendale’s winter parks and recreation classes. Although registration ended Jan. 6, classes that haven’t filled are still accepting participants through Jan. 13.
Over 150 different classes are available. Cultural arts classes featuring drawing and painting; hobbies and crafts classes including stamping; dance classes including line dance and swing; computer classes including introduction to computers and internet basics; personal development classes including guitar, dog training and Japanese; and exercise classes such as aerobics, yoga, karate and golf are available for adults.
Children’s classes include dance, arts, cheer, ice skating, music, karate, science, tennis, tumbling and more.
Classes are held at various locations in Glendale and the prices vary. Most classes begin the week of Jan. 16.
