Glendale Police Recruitment - How Do I Get Started?
Step 1: Preliminary Applicant Questionnaire
All interested applicants must fill out a preliminary applicant questionnaire. Applicants will not move forward in the employment process if the questionnaire is incomplete or not submitted on time.
Step 2: Employment Application
All interested applicants must fill out a City of Glendale employment application. Applicants will not move forward in the employment process if the application is incomplete or not submitted on time.
Email is the preferred method of notification by the Glendale Police Department. If an email address is provided, you will be notified of your status throughout the employment process via email.
Step 3: Employment Preference Points
If you are eligible for Employment Preference Points under Arizona Revised Statute 38-492, please complete an Employment Preference Points Form and submit with your employment application and preliminary questionnaire.
Step 4: Submit Preliminary Applicant Questionnaire, Employment Application, Record of Equivalent Training (if applicable), and Employment Preference Points Form (if applicable) to the City of Glendale Human Resources Department

Required documents, as outlined above, will only be accepted during the open recruitment period. The current open recruitment period is from Monday, October 12, 2009 to Friday, October 23, 2009 at 5:00pm. Incomplete applications or applications received before or after the open recruitment period will not move forward in the employment process. Postmarks are not accepted. Candidates will be notified via email, mail and/or telephone of the status of their application.
