“Watch Your Kid, Watch Your Car” Safety Fair

GLENDALE, Ariz. – The Glendale Police and Fire Departments in partnership with Westcor’s Arrowhead Towne Center, will be presenting a free safety fair on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Arrowhead Mall, located at 7700 West Arrowhead Towne Center in Glendale.

The fair will run from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and will be located in the south parking lot of the mall. In addition to free VIN (vehicle identification number) etching, the fire departments safety trailer, safety awareness information and free give-a-ways, there will also be two community forums in an air conditioned community room located inside the mall. One will be on auto theft which is from 10 a.m.- 11 a.m., the other on personal safety from 12 p.m.- 1 p.m..

Experts will be on hand to discuss personal safety and property protection and answer questions that will help to keep you from becoming a victim.

The first 25 persons to attend the community forum on auto theft will receive a free steering wheel club.
Due to limited seating capacity, reservations for the forums are required.
