Cops Wait Tables at Margaritaville for Special Olympics

WHO: Glendale Police Officers and Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville Restaurant at Westgate

WHAT: About 12 Glendale Police Officers will give new meaning to the phrase “Protect and Serve” as they assist Margaritaville staff in waiting and clearing tables. Doughnut jokes and other cop clichés are encouraged. All tips given to the officers will be donated to the Special Olympics.

WHERE: Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville Restaurant in the Westgate City Center at 95th Avenue just south of Glendale Avenue.

WHEN: Friday, April 25th, 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

WHY: The Glendale Police Department supports the Special Olympics through Torch Runs and other fund-raising events. This is another opportunity to support Special Olympics and to raise money to further their efforts.
