Free Glendale Safety Fair
WHO: Members from the Glendale Police Department, Glendale Fire
Department, Cabela’s, NRA, US Coast Guard Auxiliary, & Taser
WHAT: The Safety Fair will include free VIN etching, document shredding,
water safety education, lessons on continuous chest
compressions (CCC), gun safety education, free gun locks,
boating safety, and demonstrations from Taser on personal
protection products
WHERE: Cabela’s 9380 W. Glendale Ave. Glendale, AZ 85305
WHEN: Saturday, February 21, 2009
VIN Etching & Document Shredding - 9:00 am to Noon ONLY
All other events will be held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
WHY: This FREE Safety Fair provides safety tips for a variety of areas of
your life.
The etching of the VIN to your vehicle’s windows may help
reduce auto theft and takes about 10 minutes to complete.
Please bring current proof of registration.
The first 25 people at the fair will receive a free Club device
to prevent auto theft.
The shredding of documents helps prevent identity theft, and there will be a limit of three boxes of documents per person.
The Glendale Fire Department will be promoting water safety and giving free lesson on how to administer proper continuous chest compressions (CCC) for life saving safety.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) will be talking about gun safety and handing out free gun locks.
The US Coast Guard will be educating people on boating safety.
Representatives from Taser will be out there to demonstrate personal protective products.
