On February 18, 1995, Glendale Police Officers went to the mobile home park at 6500 W Glendale Ave after a citizen called stating that their child had found their neighbor down at her residence. Police found the body of Maria Gibson down inside of her home. Maria was the victim of an obvious murder. Maria was known around the mobile home park as friendly but a recluse, who remained at home most of the time. Maria was a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic who lived at the home by herself. At the time of Maria’s death several sexual assaults were reported to police in the area around the mobile home park. Due to the condition of Maria’s home Investigators feel she knew the person who attacked her. Please complete the form below to submit a tip online.
