On 11/20/2007 Patrol officers responded to a shots fired call in the area of 4300 W. Peoria. Upon arrival, officers discovered victim Luciano Resendez shot in the parking lot. Witnesses observed the suspect vehicle, a champagne colored SUV, possibly a Cadillac Escalade or similar type vehicle fleeing east on Peoria Ave. Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance from anyone with information to assist in solving this homicide.
