On 1/27/2006 Police officers working in the area of 4300 W Glendale Av heard shots coming from the Famous Sams club. A Hispanic Male was seen running from the club to the rear alley and was chased by victim Esau Heras-Holguin. Officers learned that victim James Ledgewood a patron exiting the club had been shot. As victim Esau Heras-Holguin chased the suspect to a nearby town complex at 4300 W Lamar Rd he was fatally shot by the suspect.
