On 11/15/2004 Police Officers responded to a 911 call regarding a shooting at 5800 North 67 Avenue. Victim Charles Stephens was discovered inside his apartment shot. Witnesses at the scene reported seeing a Black Male 6’00”-6’02´tall, mid 20’s with braided hair, go up to the apartment shortly before the shooting. After the shooting witnesses reported this suspect came down the stairwell running southbound through the complex. A witness reported they observed black male with a thin build, wearing a greenish gray sweater and jeans run from the victim’s apartment. investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in solving this homicide.
