Glendale Parks and Recreation is Nationally Accredited.
CAPRA provides quality assurance and quality improvement of accredited park and recreation agencies throughout the United States. CAPRA is the only national accreditation of park and recreation agencies, and is a valuable measure of an agency’s overall quality of operation, management, and service to the community.
Sports Illustrated, National Parks and Recreation Association and Dodge, all partners in the Sports Illustrated Good Sports program, have named Glendale as one of the nation's Good Sports Communities of the Year. Glendale was one of eight cities in the country to receive this honor. Glendale was selected for implementing the most effective youth-focused sports programs. To view more, click here.
