Touch A Truck Event

Touch a Truck
10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18
Westgate Entertainment District,
6770 N. Sunrise Blvd., East Parking Lot
FREE ADMISSION!

This event is FUN for the entire family and educational too! Come out, look at, sit in and “Touch A Truck”
of all sizes and shapes. This unique and exciting event is a wonderful opportunity for families to see, touch, interact with and learn about big trucks and their functions. Industrial, commercial, rental, fire and city vehicles will be on display. Enjoy shopping, dining and more before and after the event at Westgate Entertainment District! Foothills Neighborhood Halloween Event
Friday, Oct. 24, 6 to 8 p.m., at Foothills Recreation & Aquatics Center, 5600 W. Union Hills Dr.
Halloween kidsChildren, ages 10 and younger, can load up on candy at the Foothills Recreation & Aquatics Center and enjoy an evening of activities, including carnival games, photo opportunities, temporary tattoos, train rides (additional cost), costume parade and arts and crafts. Absolute Rhythm Dance Company will be on site with a “Thriller” dance performance. Admission can be purchased the night of the event for $4 ($5 non-residents). 8th Annual Santa’s Workshop
Red stockingSaturday, Dec. 13, 10 a.m. to noon, at Foothills Recreation & Aquatics Center,
5600 W. Union Hills Dr.

Kids of all ages are invited to this special event where they can purchase holiday presents (everything is $2) for their friends, family or even their pets. A store will be set up with a variety of items sure to make everyone happy. Santa’s elves will be on site to wrap their selection in holiday wrapping paper.
