Glendale Parks and Recreation is Nationally Accredited.
CAPRA provides quality assurance and quality improvement of accredited park and recreation agencies throughout the United States. CAPRA is the only national accreditation of park and recreation agencies, and is a valuable measure of an agency’s overall quality of operation, management, and service to the community.

The Glendale Heroes Regional Park, when completed, will be an 81-acre park featuring a variety of amenities.
Currently the park includes:
Public Safety Building
(skateboarding, in-line and BMX facility with concessions) X-Court Splash Pad (water play area)
Playgrounds/Tot Lots Basketball Courts
to submit a reservation request (you will be contacted within 48 hours of submission): Large Group Ramada Complex
The following amenities will be included in future construction phases. See below for the rendering of the completed park.
Multi-Generational Recreation Center
Soccer, softball and little league baseball fields
Urban Fishing Lake
