Holiday Notice

City of Glendale offices will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day

Residential garbage and recycling collection shifts one day later to avoid the holiday, therefore residents who normally receive service on Wednesday will be serviced Thursday. All other residents who have service on Thursday and Friday will have their service day shifted one day forward as well.         

The Glendale Municipal Landfill will be closed. For more information about the city’s Sanitation services, please call (623) 930-2660.

Fixed Route buses will be running the normal weekday schedule. The Gus bus route will only operate on one route (Downtown).

While the Glendale Municipal Airport will remain open during the holiday, the airport’s administrative offices will be closed.

In addition, Glendale’s three public libraries also will be closed.
