Park and Ride to the Game!

Start Your Super Bowl Day in Downtown Glendale

Great food, fabulous shopping and convenience await game goers in Historic Downtown Glendale.

Just minutes from the University of Phoenix Stadium, downtown Glendale will be the home to an official park-and-ride lot on game day (Feb. 3, 2008), making pre-game fun in downtown even easier. Football fans can park throughout the downtown as well as the city hall and Palmaire parking structures. The city hall structure is located on Glenn Drive just east of 59th Avenue and the Palmaire structure is at 58th Drive and Palmaire.

Shuttle Details

Shuttles will operate from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., connecting the downtown to the Sports and Entertainment District. The cost is $5 per person (round trip), children 10 and younger ride for free. Shuttle pick up and drop off in the downtown will be at 58th and Glenn drives, and in the Sports and Entertainment District, pick up and drop off will be at the Cabela's.

The 40-passenger shuttles are ADA accessible and will offer visitors a great opportunity to visit historic downtowns array of eclectic shops and eateries before heading out to the football frenzy and big game activities at Westgate City Center.

Remember to Stop by the Visitor Center

Don't forget to stop in at the Glendale Visitor Center, an official Arizona Information Center, between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. to pick up great information about Glendale and neighboring communities.
