From the Heart program receives boost from corporate donors
Glendale’s From the Heart program recently received a huge boost, thanks to four corporate donors and the program partner, BHHS Legacy Foundation. This program would not be possible without our residents and program partner, and these recent corporate donations will make a positive impact in our community.
Glendale Glitters sponsor, Starbucks, sold coffee during Glitters event nights with all donated proceeds going to the city’s From the Heart program. The four nights’ total of donations received was $4,200. Honeywell recently donated $1,292 to From the Heart, and in conjunction with the opening of Westgate City Center, Ellman Cos. donated $8,190 to the program, as well. From the Heart was also the recipient of a $25,000 donation from Lund Cadillac. |
About the Program
To allow all donated dollars to go further, the BHHS Legacy Foundation matches every dollar donated to From the Heart by 50 percent. Thanks to generous donations from our community and the BHHS Legacy Foundation match, From the Heart awarded $157,500 to 20 non-profit social service agencies in 2006.
