Meet Councilmember Yvonne J. Knaack

Councilmember Yvonne KnackCouncilmember Yvonne J. Knaack was elected in November 2006 to represent the Barrel District beginning January 2007 and is dedicated to maintaining and improving Glendale neighborhoods. She has worked in Glendale for 36 years and has been a resident for 22 years. Currently, she is also an agent for State Farm Insurance with a Chartered Life Underwriter designation.

Councilmember Knaack attended Northern Arizona University, Phoenix College and Glendale Community College. She has been active in many civic organizations and is currently serving on the boards of the Salvation Army, YMCA, Glendale Kiwanis Club and the Glendale Chamber of Commerce. She has also served as Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Adjustments, as a member of the Risk Management and Workers Compensation Trust Fund Board and the Glendale Rental Improvement Taskforce. Additionally, Councilmember Knaack is a member of the Arizona Town Hall, Copperwood Elementary School Site Council and the State Farm Arizona Legislative Action Committee.
