Mayor Scruggs in the Community
All coins collected from Westgate’s Waterdance Fountain will now be donated to Glendale’s From The Heart program, which provides essential services to Glendale’s most vulnerable children, families and elderly residents.
Mayor Scruggs and Mr. Wissink are pictured with representatives from Gabriel's Angels, a non-profit organization that provides healing pet therapy to at-risk children. Gabriel's Angels is just one of the social service organizations that will receive From the Heart funding in 2008. From the Heart is a partnership between Glendale residents, the city of Glendale, the Legacy Foundation and Quality of Life Community Services.
